Made from the same fabric as the overalls, Footplate Trousers in place of Bib & brace were popular on the Western and Southern regions. Designed to be worn over ordinary trousers, they have a high waist, so that if used with a belt (belt loops are fitted), the belt fastens higher up than the belt on the inner trousers. They have pocket access slits, as per B&B. They also have buttons for separate braces. A belt may be worn though we are able to supply "traditional" older style BRACES if required.
